New Delhi: A 14-year-old boy was sexually assaulted and harassed by a group of boys in South Delhi’s Hauz Khas. The victim was also asked to lick the slippers of one of the accused. The video of the indecent act was recorded to threaten the victim. Police have held the 3 boys in custody.
On Jan 28, the victim’s mother made a PCR call regarding the incident. A team from the local police station rushed to the place and heard the case. The boy was then counseled and taken to the hospital for medical examination.
A senior officer said it was revealed that on Jan 27, around 6:30 pm the boy was returning home after playing at Central Park in Hauz Khas. “Three boys aged 12 and 14 years took him to an isolated place. One of them threatened the victim using a vegetable knife. The accused then sexually assaulted the boy and recorded a video of the act on a mobile phone. The victim was threatened not to disclose the information to anyone and also further forced to lick the slippers of the accused,” the officer added.
Beginning the investigation, a case under sections 377 (unnatural offences), 506 (criminal intimidation), 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of IPC, and 12 POCSO Act was registered at Hauz Khas police station.
