To build a strong education system from the lower to the top level of educational infrastructure, a new education blueprint has been unveiled by the Chinese government and its central as well as its state committee.

The core focus will be given to socialism with Chinese characteristics, which will have a powerful ideological impact on the Chinese education system. China may gain strong political leadership with great distinctions of CPC (Communist Party of China) ideology because of its emphasis on the education system.

Building a leading country in education has been an aspiration of the Chinese nation since the advent of modern times. In 2022, the CPC set the goal to be achieved by 2035.

This plan will also explore the expansion of free education, establish a system to monitor changes in the school-age population, and optimise the layout of primary and secondary schools as well as kindergartens, according to the news agency Xinhua.

Additionally, it will increase “high-quality” undergraduate enrolment, expand graduate education, and raise the proportion of doctoral students, it said.
