In a recent event held at the Baba Mastnath Math in Rohtak, Haryana, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat shared their perspectives on the importance of Sanatan Dharma (Eternal Religion) and its role in promoting peace, cultural heritage, and unity in India. The event brought together various leaders, saints, and public figures, including Union Minister V K Singh, Yoga guru Ramdev, Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda, and seers from across the country.

Key Highlights of the Event:

Sanatan Dharma as a Guarantor of Peace: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asserted that Sanatan Dharma is the sole guarantor of world peace. He argued that when global crises or “sankats” arise, the world looks to India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for hope and solutions. Adityanath emphasized that when 140 crore Indians unite behind this hope, it becomes a source of strength for the entire world.

Ram Temple in Ayodhya: Yogi Adityanath referred to the under-construction Ram temple in Ayodhya as an example of how faith in Sanatan Dharma can overcome obstacles. He mentioned that while those who did not believe in Sanatan Dharma used to avoid discussions of the Ram Temple, faith in the principles of Sanatan Dharma has made the seemingly impossible task of temple construction possible.

Nath Sampraday’s Role: Adityanath highlighted the Nath Sampraday’s significance in preserving the country’s Sanatan Dharma tradition. He noted that there are various sects with diverse methods of worship and beliefs, but they all share a common goal: the re-establishment of the eternal truths of Sanatan Dharma through collective and robust efforts.

Spreading Awareness: The saints, according to Adityanath, are dedicated to the welfare of the people and aim to support the government’s initiative of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” (One India, Great India) by raising awareness in villages.

Cultural Heritage: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat underlined that Sanatan Dharma is synonymous with India, and the nation’s culture is deeply rooted in it. He stressed that India’s cultural values are based on Sanatan Dharma and should be embraced as eternal truths that guide the nation.

Kaliyuga Reference: Bhagwat referred to the present challenging global circumstances and compared India’s situation in the “Kaliyuga” (the age of darkness) to that of other countries. He suggested that despite difficulties, India’s situation in this age is relatively better, indicating the nation’s resilience.

‘Bharat Mitra Pillar’ Inauguration: Mohan Bhagwat inaugurated the ‘Bharat Mitra Pillar’ in Khanda Kheri village, built in memory of the late Mitrasen Arya. He described the pillar as a reflection of India’s cultural heritage and encouraged people, particularly the youth, to visit and learn about the rich cultural traditions of India.

The event showcased the significance of Sanatan Dharma as a source of spiritual strength and cultural heritage in India. Leaders and dignitaries emphasized the role of these timeless values in promoting peace, unity, and resilience, while also celebrating the ongoing construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya as a testament to the faith in Sanatan Dharma.
