Who is Ryan Routh? Alleged Second Assassin Arrested with AK-47 Targeting Trump
Ryan Wesley Routh was arrested for allegedly pointing an AK-47 at former President Trump. In an old video, Ryan is shown urging people to “join the fight.”
Ryan Wesley Routh has reportedly been identified as the man arrested for allegedly aiming an AK-47 at former President Donald Trump while he was golfing, according to law enforcement sources. This marks the second assassination attempt on Trump this year, following a near-miss with a bullet in Pennsylvania. After the incident, Trump was confirmed to be safe. Routh, known for his support of left-wing causes and his “do-gooder” persona on social media, has sparked numerous questions with his arrest.
On September 16, Trump narrowly avoided another assassination attempt while at a golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida. Authorities reported that a sniper armed with a scoped AK-47 came within a few hundred yards of Trump as he played golf. Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw explained that the suspect tried to conceal himself near a chain-link fence about 300 to 500 yards away, noting that such a distance was manageable with the weapon and scope involved. Secret Service agents spotted Routh, who was heavily armed, and fired at him, though he managed to flee. He was eventually apprehended by local police on I-95.
Routh, originally from Hawaii, runs a shed-building company called Camp Box Honolulu. His LinkedIn profile highlights his interest in creative projects and mechanical work. According to records from the Federal Election Commission (FEC), Routh, a longtime Democrat supporter, has made 19 donations totaling over $140 since 2019, including contributions to Hawaii’s former Representative Tulsi Gabbard, who has since become a Trump supporter.
