Amitabh Bachchan is returning to Ayodhya to see the recently dedicated Ram Mandir. On Friday, Bachchan—who attended the January inauguration event earlier this year—was spotted at the temple. Bachchan is seen being closely followed by security as he makes his way to the Ram Mandir to receive blessings in a video obtained by the news agency PTI. “Actor Amitabh Bachchan (@SrBachchan) visits Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir to offer prayers,” the news agency tweeted in a post that included the footage. The actor may be seen traveling to the temple while wearing traditional clothing.

The actor, who serves as a brand ambassador for a well-known jewelry firm, is reportedly in Uttar Pradesh to open a new shop.

Prior to this, Amitabh Bachchan visited Ayodhya. Big B made his second trip to the temple in the past three weeks on Friday. On January 22, he was at Ayodhya as well for the Ram Mandir’s pran prathishta ceremony. Actor Abhishek Bachchan, his son, had gone with him to the function.

Thousands of people from the entertainment, sports, and political domains were invited, including the father-son team. Following the occasion, Big B posted a few photos to X, one of which showed the Ram Lalla idol inside the temple. It was “a day filled with the relevance of divine spirit,” according to his blog. “A day filled with the relevance of divine spirit immersed in the reckoning of the TEMPLE at Shri Ram’s birth back from the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya the glory, the celebration and the belief of faith,” the author said. Beyond this, not much can be stated because faith is beyond words.
