Uttar Pradesh: In a horrific and disturbing incident, a woman from Uttar Pradesh allegedly murdered her 5-year-old daughter before engaging in an intimate act with her lover beside the child’s lifeless body. The accused, identified as Roshnia, reportedly committed the crime in a chilling sequence of events that has left the local community in shock.
Gruesome Details of the Crime
According to police reports, Roshnia strangled her daughter, Saina, to death in their home. After killing the child, she allegedly called her lover, Udit, to the scene. Shockingly, the two then engaged in a sexual act next to the girl’s corpse before disposing of the body.
The crime came to light when neighbours raised suspicions about the child’s sudden disappearance. Upon investigation, authorities uncovered the gruesome details, leading to the arrest of both Roshnia and Udit.
Police Investigation Underway
Local law enforcement has registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including murder and destruction of evidence. Investigators are probing whether the accused had planned the crime in advance or if it was an impulsive act.
“The accused woman has confessed to killing her daughter. We are examining all angles, including the possibility of prior abuse or motive,” said a senior police officer.

The brutal nature of the crime has sparked widespread outrage, with demands for strict punishment for the perpetrators. Child rights activists and local leaders have called for swift justice, emphasising the need for stronger measures to protect vulnerable children from such atrocities.
