Chandigarh: Two Women Accused of Stealing ₹3 Lakh and Jewelry from Locked House

Two women have been booked for allegedly stealing ₹3 lakh in cash and jewelry from a locked house in Burail village. According to the police, the house owner lodged a complaint accusing the women of breaking into her home and taking cash, jewelry, and other household items. A case has been registered under Sections 305, 331(3), 324(4), and 61(2) of the BNS

• Theft at Businessman’s House, 3 Arrested: In Hyderabad, a watchman and two accomplices were arrested for robbing a businessman’s house in Jubilee Hills, stealing diamonds, gold, silver, and cash worth ₹10 lakh. The police recovered the stolen items and arrested all three suspects.
• Ex-MP Sanghamitra Maurya’s Jewelry Theft: Former Budaun MP Sanghamitra Maurya reported a theft of ₹45 lakh worth of jewelry from her Lucknow residence. Her watchman is the prime suspect, accused of using duplicate keys to commit the crime.
• Bhopal Burglary: Two brothers, Azhar and Sarwar Ali, were arrested in Bhopal for stealing ₹5 lakh worth of jewelry from a locked house. The police recovered the stolen property and are investigating their involvement in other cases.
