Two Teens Found Hanging From a Tree in Faridabad
In a tragic incident, the lifeless bodies of two teenagers were discovered hanging from a tree in the early hours of Monday in a dense forest near Faridabad, according to authorities.
According to the police, the bodies were discovered in Aravalli behind Sidhdata Ashram and taken there for a post-mortem. The teenagers, who both lived in Faridabad, attended the same school from class seven through class ten together. Afterward, one of them had to transfer to a different school because his family had to move, the police said.
Family members said that around 3 p.m. on Sunday, both of them had left their homes for a stroll. One of them called his older brother at 6 o’clock and let him know he would shortly be returning home. The 16-year-old allegedly stopped picking up his phone after that. Then, family members called the police when neither of them arrived home until late at night.
The victims were discovered hanging from a tree on Monday at 2 a.m. in the woodlands behind Sidhdata Ashram, according to the police, who found their phones.
According to the police, they were looking into the cause of death, and the 16-year-old boys’ families had not suspected anyone of murder. Police have not said whether the incident involved suicide or murder. The investigation is still underway.
