Two Minors Committed Suicide after Getting Molested and Allegedly Raped by classmates in Rajasthan

Two minor girls from Pratapgarh, Rajasthan, committed suicide early Saturday morning. According to the complaint filed by their father, they were molested and later allegedly raped by their four classmates on Friday. Both of the class 12th students were sisters and used to live with their father in a rented house owned by the prime accused’s brother.
The father of both the minor girls also filed a complaint on Wednesday at the local police station alleging the accused of misbehaving and molesting his daughters form the past few weeks. They vacated the house earlier this month as the father felt the atmosphere unsafe for his two daughters.
Amit Budaniya, the SP for Pratapgarh, declared, “We have detained the three offenders, including a minor in the incident. During our initial investigation, it was discovered that the accusations of intimidation and abuse were accurate. However, the allegation of rape has not yet been established”.
On Wednesday, the accused called the girls for a meeting at the school to resolve the issue. However, upon meeting, the accused misbehaved with the victims and assaulted them. They snatched their mobile phones when they tried to call their family for help. Following this, the father filed a complaint upon which the police started searching for them. “However, all of them were absconding,” the SP added.
It was on Friday that the accused allegedly raped the minors, as per the father’s complaint logged following the unfortunate death of his two daughters. Police in Pratapgarh, according to Superintendent of Police Amit Budaniya, have detained three suspects, including a minor, in connection with the incident, within a few hours following the suicide. Bodies of the victims were sent to the local district hospital for postmortem. Police are currently in the process of a thorough investigation, However, no sound evidence for the rape allegation was found so far. The fact would be ascertained after the Autopsy only.
