The US response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s recent statements, asserting India’s willingness to take action against terrorists in their homes, emphasised a stance of non-interference.
State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller reiterated the encouragement for both India and Pakistan to prioritise dialogue over escalation, refraining from direct involvement in the matter when asked about India’s counterterrorism operations abroad.
