The Supreme Court has asked the ECI to verify allegations levelled against EVMs used in mock polls in Kasaragod, Kerala.

According to the allegations, the EVMs used in Kerala’s Kasaragod mock polls registered extra votes in favour of the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP).

However, when the Supreme Court resumed hearings for the case post-lunch break,an official of the an official of the Election Commission of India told the court that the cited report was fallacious.
