The Polling Date of the First Phase of Lok Sabha Election Coming Forth; BJP is Moving up The Gear

Not long ago, the Chief Election Commissioner, Rajiv Kumar, declared the dates for the Lok Sabha elections, 2024. Notifying that the elections will occur in 7 phases, starting on April 19 and ending on June 1. 

As the date of the first phase of the election draws closer, the parties are becoming much more active in their election campaigns. The leaders of various political parties are touring states in an effort to win over voters. As an effective preparation for the first round of the Lok Sabha elections, which is currently underway. While the first phase of polling draws near, the leaders are doing everything in their power. On this month’s 19th, 102 constituencies located throughout 21 states and union territories will participate in this phase of voting.

Prime Minister and Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Narendra Modi will be on the road for a while. The BJP has organised several public gatherings and meetings in different cities across the nation. Here are a few cities and places where he is scheduled to hold public meetings.

Two Public Meetings Held In BIHAR, Today  

Today, in support of the NDA candidates, Prime Minister and Senior BJP Leader Narendra Modi will speak at two public gatherings in Gaya and Purnia, Bihar.

The senior Lok Sabha candidate, Narendra Modi, is scheduled to speak at a public meeting at Gandhi Maidan this morning. The first electoral rally will take place in the Gaya parliamentary constituency. And the second public meeting is organised at Purnia’s Rangbhoomi Maidan.

This is Prime Minister Modi’s third visit to Bihar following the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections.

Given the number of politicians from Bihar in Indian politics, Bihar is regarded as one of the most significant states in politics. Bihar is the fourth-highest state overall, with 40 Lok Sabha seats. It’s needless to say that Bihar needs more attention.

Earlier this month, PM Narendra Modi held open forums in the parliamentary constituencies of Jamui and Nawada. Elections for the Lok Sabha will take place in two phases, in Bihar. In Gaya, polling will occur in the first phase of the election on April 19. While in Purnia, the polling for Lok Sabha will be held in the second phase on April 26th.

Also, the Prime Minister and Senior Leader of the NDA are set to address two public meetings in West Bengal today. 

In support of the party’s Lok Sabha candidate from the Balurghat parliamentary constituency, he would speak at a Vijay Sankalpa Yatra at the Balurghat railway ground. He is scheduled to speak at another meeting at Raiganj later in the day.

The Bharatiya Janata Party won 303 seats in the previous year’s elections. While the Congress won 52 seats, for opposition parties to contend with the BJP this year, the Lok Sabha elections are essential. There are 543 seats up for election in the Lok Sabha this year. There are 412 seats available for candidates in the general category. As for the reserved category, there are 47 for ST candidates, and 84 for SC candidates.
