On his first visit to the Samsung BKC at Jio World Plaza, Mumbai, since its establishment, Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman, CEO, and Head of the Device Experience (DX) Division, Jong-Hee (JH) Han, paid a noteworthy visit. Han highlighted Samsung’s commitment to providing hyper-connectivity and artificial intelligence (AI) to the nation’s tech-savvy customers during his visit by expressing his excitement for India’s potential as the next big frontier for AI.
Han underlined the importance of India as a hub for AI developments and cited the Samsung BKC store as a physical embodiment of the company’s “AI for All” ambition, which seeks to provide everyone with access to AI technologies. He said, “India is the next big playground for AI, and our flagship Samsung BKC store is an embodiment of our ‘AI for All’ vision and will showcase ‘One Samsung’.”
At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) earlier this year, Han introduced Samsung’s ambitious “AI for All” vision, showcasing how AI would transform user experiences by making gadgets easier and more intuitive than before. In line with this goal, Samsung showcased the incorporation of AI technology into commonplace products with the launch of Galaxy AI, the newest model of Galaxy S24 smartphones.
Han emphasized the importance of the Indian market and stated that Samsung acknowledges it as one of the biggest and fastest-growing markets in the world, with enormous potential for the company’s expansion and innovation. According to him, “India has a large population of tech-savvy young consumers that inspire us to innovate.” He highlighted the country’s youthful and tech-savvy populace as a source of inspiration and innovation.
Han praised the work of thousands of young professionals who are employed at Samsung’s research and development (R&D) facilities located throughout India. These individuals play a crucial role in advancing innovative technologies like artificial intelligence. He conveyed his delight in their work and emphasized how they influenced Samsung’s creative initiatives in the area.
The Samsung BKC, a linked living experience shop that allows customers to fully immerse themselves in the “One Samsung” environment, was recently opened by Samsung. This shop is a symbol of Samsung’s dedication to offering integrated experiences across its wide range of products in order to meet the changing demands and tastes of Indian customers.
Jong-Hee Han’s visit to the Samsung BKC highlights Samsung’s strategic emphasis on India as a crucial market for technical progress and AI research. Samsung hopes to contribute to India’s thriving digital economy while empowering customers with revolutionary AI-driven experiences through its “AI for All” vision and ongoing investment in research and development.
