The Hoarding Owner Bhavesh Bhinde of the Ghatkopar Incident is Yet to be Arrested

MUMBAI: On Monday night, Bhavesh Bhinde’s Mulund apartment was searched by the Mumbai police. But as far as the police are concerned, Bhinde is currently unaccounted for. Since he is not using his cell phone at the moment, the police have put squads together to find him.
The person in charge of the unlawful hoarding that occurred in Ghatkopar, Mumbai, has been identified as Bhavesh Bhide, the proprietor of the hoarding business and advertising agency “Ego media Pvt. Ltd.”
According to the BMC, the billboard was erected without authorization from the company and was done so unlawfully. At the Pantnagar police station, Mumbai police had filed a complaint against the owner of the company on Monday. Bhavesh Bhide and others are charged under IPC 304, 338, 337, and 34.
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) conducted rescue operations for those stranded overnight after a big hoarding fell in Mumbai early on Tuesday, resulting in 14 fatalities.
The incident has resulted in at least 74 injuries. According to National Disaster Response Force inspector Gaurav Chauhan, who talked with the news agency AFP, eight bodies have already been discovered. This occurred after workers searched through the rubble for stranded individuals behind the collapsed billboard. He reported that four more dead were still buried beneath the rubble.
Eknath Shinde, the chief minister of Maharashtra, visited the scene on Monday to assess the situation. Along with treatment for those injured, he also declared an ex gratia of ₹5 lakh for the families of the deceased.
