Former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly has suggested that young left-hander Tilak Varma should be considered as India’s No. 4 batsman for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2023, particularly if front-line player Shreyas Iyer is unavailable due to injury.

Despite concerns about the No. 4 position, Ganguly expressed confidence in India’s batting lineup. He emphasized that the team has a plethora of talented batsmen who could fill the crucial slot effectively.

Ganguly singled out Tilak Varma as a promising option for the No. 4 position. He highlighted Varma’s adaptability and fearless approach to the game.
