‘Sorry Bubu’ Posters Spark Curiosity and Amusement in Meerut, Noida, as Viral Video Takes the Internet by Storm

A peculiar incident has emerged in the Ganganagar area of Meerut, where an unidentified individual has plastered posters bearing the phrase “Sorry Bubu” across the neighbourhood. These posters have appeared on market walls, residential buildings, and road barriers, sparking curiosity and debate among residents. A video showcasing 30-40 similar posters stuck on the foot-overbridge near Noida’s Botanical Garden Metro Station recently went viral, prompting police to launch an investigation. Authorities suspect the act is a prank or mischief.
The viral posters have triggered widespread discussions, with many questioning the Police Commissioner’s vigilance. Meanwhile, a girl from Ganganagar, Meerut, created a reel addressing the bizarre situation. A 28-second video circulating on social media captures “Sorry Bubu” posters covering both sides of the foot-overbridge (FOB), with the phrase also spray-painted in various spots. In the clip, a person wearing a khaki jacket walks ahead of the individual recording, while a voice in the background remarks, “Look, someone has put up ‘Sorry Bubu’ posters everywhere. Seems like they won’t get caught now.” More than 30 posters can be seen in the footage.
Taking the matter seriously, police have begun scanning CCTV footage from the Botanical Garden area. A special team has been assigned to identify and apprehend the person behind the posters. While authorities suspect it to be a prank, they are still working to determine the intent behind the stunt. The public has been urged to share any relevant information about the case.
Similar “Sorry Bubu” posters have also been spotted on road dividers and other prominent locations near the main road and HP Block close to Ganganagar Tower. A young girl, upon noticing one of the posters, made a humorous 30-second Instagram reel, suggesting that “Bubu,” for whom the apology was intended, should acknowledge it.
The video has quickly gained traction, amassing 14,000 likes and 48 comments so far. It has been widely shared, garnering significant attention across social media.
