Sonakshi Sinha and Iqbal Zaheer’s Wedding: Celebrations, Traditions, and Celebrity Guests
Ahead of the Wedding, Sinha and Iqbal families petrified home and prepared all the ceremonial. Father Shatrughn Sinha, after the evening reception party, will do the bride’s farewell.

Sonakshi Sinha and Iqbal Zaheer’s wedding planning started. The couple, after a long relationship of 7 years, are going to be tied in wedding life. They met at a big event of Salman Khan; from that time, Sonakshi & Iqbal started seeing each other and became good friends. Today is their marriage day, which fans have been patiently waiting for since they came into the relationship. Now all the Pooja (worship) and wedding planning are on from both families.
The couple decided to do a ‘Register Marriage.’ At this moment, all the wedding planning and reception-party preparation have begun. Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha’s home is prefabricated for an impressive wedding. Sonakshi’s beautiful wedding dress is ready, and her hands are full of Henna designs. To attend the wedding, Sonakshi’s close friends, including actress Huma Qureshi, have arrived. More film industry actors and actresses, including Salman Khan, rapper Honey Singh, and other VIP and Bollywood stars, are about to leave for the wedding.
The ‘Register Wedding’ will happen at Iqbal Zaheer’s residence in Bandra, where Sonakshi will leave her father’s home to complete the wedding ceremony. Sonakshi will be adorned with a white color Lehenga, which she selected for her wedding. Both Sonakshi and Iqbal have, before the reception party, arranged a Mehndi (Henna) program with guests. Earlier, Sonakshi said in an interview, “Me to chahungi ki bohot dance karu apni khud ki wedding me.” (I would like to dance a lot at my wedding.)
Before the marriage, Sonakshi’s father-in-law said that it would not be a Hindu ritual or Muslim ritual wedding; it would be simply a ‘Register Wedding’ for both families, and she would not convert to Islam. Ahead of the marriage, the bride’s father Shatrughn Sinha and his wife Poonam Sinha said that they are both happy with their daughter’s wedding. He blessed both Sonakshi and her future husband, Zaheer. Earlier, it was rumored that Sonakshi’s father Shatrughn Sinha was upset with her plan because she did not inform her father about her wedding with Iqbal Zaheer. However, Shatrughn had publicly announced him as his son-in-law.
