Seelampur Murder: ‘Lady Don’ Zikra Admits Killing Kunal to Avenge Assault on Her Brother
Police sources reveal that Kunal’s murder was motivated by a November 2023 incident in which Zikra’s cousin, Sahil, was targeted in an attempted murder.

New Delhi: In a major breakthrough in the Seelampur murder case, the accused, identified as Zikra—also known as ‘Lady Don’—has reportedly confessed that the murder of a 17-year-old boy named Kunal was carried out as an act of vengeance for a prior assault on her cousin.
As per police sources, the roots of the crime go back to November 2023, when Zikra’s cousin, Sahil, was the target of an attempted murder. That incident allegedly involved Lala and Shambhu, close associates of Kunal. Zikra further claimed that Kunal had also been present during the attack, but his name was omitted from the FIR due to his minor status at the time.
Convinced that Kunal had masterminded the earlier assault, Zikra and Sahil are believed to have conspired to exact revenge. Investigators state that the recent killing was carried out in retaliation for the November attack in which Sahil narrowly escaped with his life.
A search is currently underway to locate Sahil and Dilshad, both of whom have been missing since the murder. Authorities are continuing the probe and have not dismissed the possibility of additional individuals being involved.
