Salman Khan has reportedly received a fresh threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, demanding he either visit a Bishnoi temple to apologize for the alleged blackbuck killing or pay ₹5 crore. The Mumbai Police Traffic Control received a message on Monday from an individual claiming to be Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, warning that Khan would be killed if he didn’t meet these demands. “If Salman Khan wants to stay alive, he should apologize at our (Bishnoi community) temple or pay ₹5 crore. If he fails to do so, we will kill him; our gang remains active,” the message stated.

Police are investigating the source of the threat and have heightened security around Khan. Authorities are also probing potential links to Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently in jail, facing various charges, including attempted murder and extortion. According to ANI, the Mumbai Police confirmed that a case is being registered at the Worli Police Station, and efforts are underway to trace the message’s origin.

Last month, Khan received a similar death threat along with a demand for ₹2 crore, prompting an investigation that led to the arrest of a resident of Mumbai’s Bandra area on October 30. On October 29, the Mumbai Traffic Police received an anonymous WhatsApp message threatening the 58-year-old actor’s life if the payment wasn’t made.

Following the incident, the Worli police filed a case against the unidentified sender, and the next day, they apprehended Azam Mohammed Mustafa from Bandra (East) for allegedly making the ₹2 crore demand. Khan, who resides in Galaxy Apartments in Bandra (West), faced another incident in April when two assailants fired shots outside his residence.

Previously, the Mumbai traffic police received a ₹5 crore demand via their WhatsApp helpline, resulting in the arrest of a man from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Additionally, last month, Mumbai Police arrested an individual from Noida, Uttar Pradesh, for allegedly issuing threats against Khan and NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique, whose father, Baba Siddique, was recently shot dead in Bandra (East) on October 12.

Salman Khan has been a frequent target of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, and earlier this year, suspected gang members fired outside his Bandra residence. Months ago, Navi Mumbai police uncovered a Bishnoi gang plot to assassinate Khan, prompting further security measures around the actor.
