Police Detain Woman for Possession of Illegal Liquor

On Sunday, the Harike police, under the leadership of ASI Tarsem Singh, apprehended a woman in possession of illicit liquor. ASI Singh stated that the woman, identified as Rajbir Kaur from Makhu, was caught returning with eight bottles of illegal liquor she had purchased from Marad village.

A case was filed against her under Sections 61, 1, and 14 of the Excise Act, and she was subsequently released on bail.
