- Modi-Zelensky Meeting: Modi’s meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to focus on India’s humanitarian aid for Ukraine and ways to end the conflict with Russia.
G7 Summit Agenda:
- Strengthening Peace and Security: The outreach segment of the G7 Summit will focus on strengthening peace and security, countering foreign interference and transnational crime, building energy security, and accelerating the digital transition.
- Global South Issues: India is expected to raise issues of importance to the Global South in its interventions at the outreach session.
- Iran-Israel Tensions: The clashes between Iran and Israel are expected to dominate the outreach session, with India urging both countries to return to dialogue and diplomacy to de-escalate tensions.
