Phase 2 of the 2024 Lok Sabha Election Battle has Begun

There are 88 seats left in 13 states for the Lok Sabha elections’ second phase. The prominent seats of Mathura and Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, as well as Wayanad and Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, are the centres of attention.
In the second round of the Lok Sabha elections, which will include 88 seats in 13 states, voting has begun. Voting in “record numbers” is what Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged people to do, especially the young and female voters.
A number of people have voted, including actor Prakash Raj and Team India coach Rahul Dravid. The infamous author and philanthropist Sudha Murty and her husband, Infosys founder Narayana Murthy, former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
In Kerala, there is a major contest taking place in the second round. Notable contenders are Rahul Gandhi from Wayanad. And Shashi Tharoor, who is running against Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar in Thiruvananthapuram. In this phase, Mathura, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, is also fielding BJP politician Hema Malini.
