Passing Out Parade Celebrates Success of Agni Veers at INS Chilka

The resounding echoes of area and dedication filled the air at INS Chilka as the Passing Out Parade (POP) of the third batch of Agni veers took place on March 15, 2024. With approximately 2600 Agni veers, which includes women, marching proudly, this rite marked the fruits of months of rigorous training and practice. Families, friends, and esteemed dignitaries accrued to witness this momentous occasion, celebrating the fantastic achievements of the graduating Agni veers.
Among the distinguished guests present was Admiral R Hari Kumar, Chief of the Naval Staff, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. His presence added a hint of honor and recognition to the event, emphasizing the significance of the Agni veer program in shaping the destiny of the Indian Navy. Vice Admiral V Srinivas, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Naval Command, also attended, underscoring the significance of the POP within the naval network.
As the parade opened, the precision and synchronization displayed by the Agni Veers showcased their unwavering dedication to excellence. Each step resonated with the values of subject, integrity, and bravery instilled throughout their schooling period. Following the parade, the Chief of Naval Staff attended the valedictory feature, marking the end of the rite.
