Parents of Kolkata Doctor Criticize Mamata Banerjee Over Mishandling of Rape-Murder Case

Kolkata doctor rape-murder case: The parents of the doctor, who was allegedly raped and murdered at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, urged the nation to support them until all the accused are apprehended. “We want to send a message to the entire country through you. We are thankful to everyone across the nation, the world, and the state, and we ask that you stand with us until the accused are caught. We only hope no other mother has to suffer the loss of her child like we have,” the mother said, as quoted by ANI. She also criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for failing to handle the case and accused the Trinamool Congress leader of trying to suppress the protests.
