The Pakistani Police Force has busted an organ trafficking ring being led by a disreputable doctor in the Northeast region of Pakistan, specifically in the proximity of Kashmir under the rule of Pakistan along with the eastern Punjab region, at which the ring extracted kidneys from oblivious people without their awareness and put them up for sale to wealthy buyers.

The police force further provided astonishing details, such as the indicted doctor named Fawad Mukhtar administered surgeries at private estates in order to gather kidneys, and his partner, a car mechanic, administered anesthesia to the patients.

So far, eight people have been arrested for trafficking kidneys from hundreds of victims just to sell them to rich people requiring a transplant.

The police officials have issued a report stating that the leader, Dr. Fawad, had conducted 328 such surgeries and auctioned the kidneys for selling prices as high as $34,000 (approx. Rs. 28.28 lakh). CNN released a statement quoting Mohsin Naqvi, the CM of Punjab in Pakistan.

Fawad Mukhtar, the ring leader, had been arrested 5 times earlier as well on charges of unprofessional conduct but unfortunately got bail every time.
