Nicole Kidman Honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award

April 28, Nicole Kidman had a memorable evening. She received the American Film Institute’s Life Achievement Award. The event took place in Hollywood. Kidman received her golden trophy from fellow actress Meryl Streep.

“It is a privilege to make films,” Kidman said in her acceptance speech. “And it is wonderful to have worked on films and television with these storytellers who let me be wild and free while portraying all of these unconventional women. Thank you for helping me improve my craft and giving me a temporary place in this world.”

Nicole’s red carpet look was styled by Jason Bolden. It was an elegant and stunning dress. Demna designed Kidman’s custom Balenciaga gown. The dress had thin straps and a sweeping train that drew attention. She added Gianvito Rossi heels and an Omega watch as accessories.

She is one of the highest-paid actresses in the world and is widely recognized for her work in films and television shows from different genres.

She has received countless awards, including an Academy Award, BAFTA Award, Primetime Emmy Awards (two times), six Golden Globe Awards (six times). She is the first Australian actress to receive the AFI Life Achievement.

Kidman’s career began in Australia, with the film “BMX Bandits”. She became world-renowned for roles in the 1989 miniseries “Bangkok Hilton” and “Dead Calm”.
