Secretary of State of the United States Antony Blinken stated on Wednesday that NATO allies showed “no sense of fatigue” in their support for Ukraine.

He declared, “We must and will continue to support Ukraine,” following a NATO-Ukraine meeting in Brussels. He also mentioned that he was hearing continued support for Ukraine in both chambers of the US Congress and that NATO allies shared this view.

Ukraine has been worried that the conflict between Israel and Hamas might draw attention away from its attempts to defeat Russia, which invaded the country in February 2022.

Dmytro Kuleba, the foreign minister, urged the West to increase armaments production earlier on Wednesday.

According to him, the European Union has so far given Ukraine roughly 300,000 of the one million artillery shells it had promised.

Before meeting with the foreign ministers of NATO, Kuleba stated, “We need to create a Euro-Atlantic common area of defence industries,” adding that doing so would guarantee the security of both NATO members and Ukraine.

In an effort to lessen its reliance on arms and ammunition provided by its allies, Kyiv has recently launched a concentrated campaign to persuade top international arms manufacturers to establish operations in Ukraine.

Jens Stoltenberg, the secretary general of NATO, urged allies to go above and beyond by saying, “It is important that our solidarity with Ukraine is demonstrated in words but also in actions.” “These are concrete actions; we need more of them, and we need sustained and stepped-up support.” Before winter, Stoltenberg stated, Russia accumulated a sizable missile arsenal.

Russia “is now weaker politically, militarily, and economically,” he declared. He went on, “At the same time, we must not underestimate Russia,” highlighting that Moscow has been stepping up its efforts to attack Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and power grid in an effort to “leave Ukraine in the dark and cold.”
