Meerut: Woman Calls Rape Claim False, Defends Accused Against Her Own Family

Meerut: A strange case has emerged from the Kithore police station area of Meerut. A rape survivor from the Kithore region has fallen in love with the man who allegedly raped her. Now, the girl is making rounds of police officials, accusing her father and brothers while pleading to save the accused. On Saturday, she approached the SSP, requesting no action against the accused youth and demanding action against her own family.
The incident dates back to September 17, 2024, when a girl from the Kithore area accused her neighbor, Qadir, of raping her. A rape case was filed against him. Due to fear of defamation, her family took her to Ghaziabad, where they began living in a rented house. Meanwhile, the police were searching for Qadir.
During this time, the girl fell in love with the accused. As their relationship grew, she went to the SSP office on Saturday in support of Qadir. She claimed he was innocent and that the rape allegation was false. She also made serious allegations against her brother, mother, and father, stating that her brother and father were quarrelsome by nature and involved in illegal arms smuggling. She further alleged that they forced her to falsely accuse Qadir of rape. The girl submitted a written complaint to the SSP, requesting that no action be taken against Qadir and instead demanded action against her parents and brother.
