In a shocking revelation, the Meerut police have cracked the murder case of farmer Subhash Upadhyay, and arrested his wife Kavita, younger daughter Sonam, and their respective lovers Gulzar and Vipin, along with Vipin’s friend Ajgar alias Shivam. The investigation revealed that Subhash’s wife and daughter murdered him because he opposed their love affairs.

The Conspiracy Unfolds

According to the police, Subhash’s wife Kavita was having an affair with Gulzar, while his younger daughter Sonam was in a relationship with Vipin, a Scheduled Caste resident of Jawahar Nagar. When Subhash discovered these relationships, he opposed them, leading to constant arguments with his wife and daughter. Tired of his harassment, Kavita and Sonam conspired to eliminate Subhash with the help of their lovers.

The Murder

On the night of June 23, Vipin and his friend Ajgar alias Shivam shot Subhash dead while he was returning from his farm. After the murder, Vipin informed Sonam and her mother Kavita, who then took the bike and went home. The police investigation revealed that Sonam spoke to Vipin several times after her father’s murder, and Vipin asked her to send messages through chat instead of phone calls.

Investigation and Arrests

The police deployed the Jani police, surveillance team, and SWAT team to solve the case. Through call details and WhatsApp chats, the police arrested the five accused, including the mother-daughter duo and their lovers. A 315-bore pistol and the bike used in the murder were recovered from Ajgar.

Police Statement

SP Rural Rakesh Kumar Mishra stated that the investigation revealed that Subhash’s opposition to his wife’s and daughter’s love affairs led to the murder. The police will present the accused in court on Monday.

This case highlights the complexities of human relationships and the extreme measures people can take when faced with opposition. The police have ensured that justice will be served by arresting the accused and recovering the evidence.
