Maurya Praises Yogi Adityanath Amid Rumors of a Rift: ‘The best CM in the country’
Maurya’s commendation of UP CM Yogi Adityanath follows recent reports of internal conflicts within the state BJP unit after the Lok Sabha election setback.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday, declaring him the best chief minister in the country. Speaking to BJP workers in Mirzapur, Maurya highlighted the success of the party’s “double-engine” governance, asserting that both the state and the nation are benefiting from the leadership of the BJP. “People recognize that our double-engine government is doing the best work in the country. Is there any leader like PM Narendra Modi in the world? And is there any CM like Yogi Adityanath in the country?” Maurya asked.
He further emphasized, “With PM Modi being the most influential leader globally and CM Yogi the best in the country, we are achieving remarkable work.” Maurya also urged BJP workers to reinforce the party at the grassroots level. Maurya’s accolades for Yogi Adityanath come shortly after reports of internal discord within the state BJP unit following the Lok Sabha election defeat. Speculation has long surrounded the allegedly cool relationship between Maurya and Adityanath, with recent rumors suggesting that the party’s central leadership might soon announce a significant organizational shake-up in the state.
