Man Murdered by His Aunt in Uttar Pradesh Over Character Insult

In a shocking incident, a man was allegedly killed in his sleep by his own aunt and uncle following a fight that broke out between them days before in Uttar Pradesh’s Basti.
On September 24th, the victim, Deepak, is accused of disparaging his aunt’s character in the midst of an argument.
She and her husband had intended to murder Deepak, but she was incensed by this insult. The aunt then crept into Deepak’s room and fatally struck him with a steel rod over and over until he was dead.
She hid the murder weapon afterward and went back to sleep. Deepak’s family found his bloody body the next morning and called the police right away. A police squad was sent to investigate the situation.
Additionally, footage from a CCTV camera that was placed inside the home was examined.
Both accused were arrested within 30 hours, according to an officer, and the rod that was used in the event was also seized.
