Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been summoned again by the Enforcement Directorate. This marks the second summons by the Enforcement Directorate for questioning in connection with the money laundering case related to the now-scrapped excise policy. ED has instructed him to appear before the agency on Thursday, December 21.
Two of his party leaders, Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh, have been arrested by the central probe agencies in connection with the same case, and they remain in jail.
He was also questioned by the CBI in connection with the alleged liquor scam in April this year.
AAP MP Pathak has called the excise policy case “completely fake.” “Anyone who speaks out or asks questions of PM Narendra Modi is either suspended or arrested. Narendra Modi ji hates Arvind Kejriwal the most and is scared of him and his politics. The people who join BJP get a clean chit. If Sanjay Singh, Manish Sisodia, or Satyendar Jain join BJP today, their names will be cleared. All this is a result of dirty politics,” he added.
