News India Official: A 20-year-old man lost his life, and four others sustained injuries when a speeding car in Karnataka crashed into a divider and flipped multiple times before coming to a stop on its side.

The incident occurred early Monday morning on a highway near the Kattihosahalli area in Doddaballapur taluk, according to police officials. As reported by NDTV, the impact of the crash was so severe that two occupants were ejected from the vehicle and landed on the road.

A video allegedly capturing the accident has surfaced on social media. It shows the car speeding before striking the divider, skidding for several meters, and then flipping repeatedly. By the third flip, the vehicle lands on its front section, and after the fourth, it completely rolls onto the road. However, Hindustan Times (HT.com) could not independently verify the video’s authenticity.

Police identified the driver as Mohammad Yunus, who succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment. The four other passengers were hospitalised with injuries.

This accident comes just days after another tragic crash in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur, where six individuals from Karnataka lost their lives, and two others were critically injured. The incident occurred when a speeding jeep carrying devotees returning from Prayagraj’s Kumbh Mela collided with a private bus.

Jabalpur Collector Deepak Saxena stated that the Karnataka-registered jeep lost control, veered off course, and crashed into a tree on the road divider. The impact was so strong that the vehicle was propelled onto the opposite lane, where it collided with an oncoming private bus.
