Japan’s Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki expresses his love for Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’, dances to ‘Kaavaalaa’ song

The “Kaavaalaa” song from the movie ‘Jailer,’ featuring Tamannaah Bhatia and Rajinikanth, has gained immense popularity. Following the viral video of a Japanese man dancing to the song, Hiroshi Suzuki, the Ambassador of Japan to India, has created a video alongside Japanese YouTuber Mayo San, showcasing their dance moves to the track.
On his X (formerly Twitter) account, Ambassador Suzuki wrote, “Dancing to the Kaavaalaa track with Japanese YouTuber Mayo san (@MayoLoveIndia). My admiration for Rajinikanth continues… @Rajinikanth #Jailer #rajinifans. Video courtesy: Japanese YouTuber Mayo san and her team.” Numerous social media users have shared videos of themselves dancing to this popular song as well. Earlier, Suzuki had shared a video where he emulated Rajnikanth’s signature move of flipping his glasses, with the assistance of another person, expressing his fondness for the legendary actor. He captioned the video, “Vannakkam! @Rajinikanth, #Japan also loves you a lot! #Jailer #rajinifans.”
The song, voiced by Shilpa Rao and Anirudh Ravichander, featuring lyrics by Arunraja Kamaraj, has captured attention due to the captivating dance moves of Tamannaah and Rajinikanth, coupled with the infectious beats from the movie ‘Jailer.’
Meanwhile, the film has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing the Rs 200 crore mark in domestic collections on Independence Day. On its seventh day in theaters, the movie managed to accrue Rs 15 crore across India, as reported by the industry tracker Sacnilk. This brings the film’s net domestic earnings to Rs 225.65 crore within a week. Notably, ‘Jailer’ enjoyed a 42.43% occupancy on Wednesday.
According to trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, ‘Jailer’ has amassed a worldwide gross collection of Rs 450.80 crore. The film began its global box office journey by earning Rs 95.78 crore on its opening day.
Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, ‘Jailer’ features Rajinikanth in the role of Muthuvel Pandian, the titular jailer. The movie is acclaimed for its action-packed entertainment and boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, and Vinayakan in prominent roles.
