India lost four crucial wickets very early. Even captain Rohit Sharma lost his wicket to Shaheen Afridi for just 11 runs, leaving the fans disappointed. Also, expectations were high from Virat Kohli, the run machine, but he was also clean-bowled by Shaheen Afridi. After losing these two big stumps, the next batter, Shreyas Iyer, showed some good hands but couldn’t hold his wicket so long and threw his wicket to Harris Rauf.

At this point, India was in a deep struggle. At this stage, one emerging star, Ishan Kishan, and one of the top all-rounders in the world, Hardik Pandya, took on the responsibility. Both of them, as partners, scored 138 for India’s fifth wicket. It is the highest fifth-wicket partnership between India and Pakistan. Because of these two batters, India put up a respectable score of 267 against Pakistan.
