India has achieved an unprecedented milestone at the ongoing Asian Games 2023 by securing 100 medals, marking a historic moment in the country’s sporting history. This remarkable feat was attained after the Indian women’s kabaddi team secured the gold medal in the women’s team kabaddi event in Hangzhou on October 7th.
As of October 7th, India stands in the fourth position in the medal tally, with a total of 106 medals comprising 28 gold, 38 silver, and 40 bronze medals.
Prime Minister Modi extended his congratulations to the athletes, emphasizing the significance of this achievement for India in the Asian Games. In a statement shared on X, PM Modi expressed, “This is a momentous achievement for India at the Asian Games! The entire nation is thrilled as we reach the incredible milestone of 100 medals.
