ICAI Campus Placement 2024: PFC Offers Record-Breaking Rs. 26.7 Lakh Package; 240 Companies Participate

ICAI Campus Placement: This year, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) saw its highest-ever offered domestic package of Rs. 26.7 lakh per annum, given by PFC (Power Finance Corporation) during its 60th campus placement. A total of 240 companies participated this year in the placement process.
“This year has been a landmark achievement, witnessing the highest-ever participation of 240 companies, the largest batch of newly qualified Chartered Accountants (CAs), and record-breaking salary offers, making it the most remarkable placement season in ICAI’s history,” said CCM Chairman CMI & B Khandelwal on X (formerly Twitter).
As per the data provided by ICAI, 66,987 students appeared in this year’s Group 1 exam, and as many as 11,253 students passed, comprising 16.8% of the total. In Group 2, 49,459 students appeared for the exam, and 10,566 (21.36 percent) passed. A total of 30,763 candidates appeared in both groups, and only 4,134 passed, taking the pass percentage to 13.44 percent. A total of 11,500 candidates have qualified as Chartered Accountants (CAs), the official notification said.
AIR 1 was secured by Heramb Maheshwari from Hyderabad and Rishab Ostwal R from Tirupati, both of whom achieved All India Rank 1 by scoring 508 marks, which is 84.67%. ICAI declared the final result of the November 2024 exam on December 26. The exams for the November 2024 session were conducted as Group 1 exams held on November 3, 5, and 7, and Group 2 exams on November 9, 11, and 13.
