Chilling CCTV footage from outside slain Congress worker Himani Narwal’s house in Rohtak surfaced on Monday, showing the accused, Sachin, allegedly transporting her body in a black suitcase. The woman’s body was discovered near a bus station in Rohtak on Saturday.
According to the police, Sachin strangled Narwal using a mobile phone charging cord before placing her body in the suitcase and disposing of it. The CCTV video shows him walking calmly through a street near the victim’s residence, carrying the suitcase. Authorities have verified the footage.
Sachin, identified as Narwal’s friend, was arrested earlier today. Haryana Police stated that he allegedly killed her following a dispute, possibly over money. The accused, a mobile shop owner from Jhajjar, had been in contact with the victim for the past year and a half through social media and frequently visited her home.
Additional DGP K.K. Rao told PTI that upon discovering the body, the police formed eight teams, including an SIT, to identify the victim and track down the suspect. He confirmed that the murder occurred on February 27 after a heated argument.
While a financial dispute between the two is suspected, Rao emphasized that further investigation is needed to confirm the exact motive behind the crime.
