Hathras: A Class 2 student at a private school in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras was allegedly “sacrificed” in a “black magic” ritual, according to police reports. Kritarth, 11, was reportedly killed earlier this week in the school’s hostel to bring “success” to DL Public School in Rasgawan.
Police have arrested five people, including the school’s owner, Jasodhan Singh, his son Dinesh Baghel, who served as the school’s director, and three teachers. Authorities revealed that the school director’s father believed in “black magic.”
Investigations revealed the accused initially planned to kill the boy near a tubewell outside the school, but when he began screaming as they attempted to take him out of the hostel, they strangled him. Items linked to “black magic” were discovered near the school during the investigation. The accused had previously attempted to “sacrifice” another 9-year-old student on September 6, but that attempt failed.
According to a complaint filed by the student’s father, Krishan Kushwaha, he was informed by the school on Monday that his son had fallen ill. Upon arriving at the school, he was told that the director had taken his son to the hospital. Later, Mr. Kushwaha found his son’s body in Baghel’s car.
