Tragic accident claims the lives of Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker’s maternal uncle and grandmother in Charkhi Dadri, Haryana. Police launch an investigation as the driver involved flees the scene.

Charkhi Dadri, Haryana: Olympic medallist shooter Manu Bhaker’s maternal uncle Yudhveer Singh and her maternal grandmother Savitri Devi died in a tragic road accident on Sunday. The accident took place between Mahendragarh Chowk and Bhiwani Chowk in Charkhi Dadri.
According to Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Shirish Kumar, “The accident took place between Mahindergarh Chowk and Bhiwani Chowk. We reached the spot, and the driver of the car fled the scene. A post-mortem has been conducted, and a case has been registered against the driver.”
Manu Bhaker, who made India proud with her shooting achievements, rushed to her maternal grandmother’s house in Charkhi Dadri upon hearing the sad news.
The accident has left the Bhaker family and the local community in mourning. Police are actively investigating the case and searching for the driver responsible for the accident.
