Hamas Deludes Israel as It Schemes of a Catastrophic Assault

A crusade of deception guaranteed that Israel was unprepared when the Palestinian Islamist group launched a catastrophic assault, enabling an impact with the use of bulldozers, hang gliders, and motorbikes against the Middle East’s strongest army.
The attack on Saturday is the most devastating transgression in Israel’s defenses since the Arab army started a war in the early 1970s. After that, there were two years of evasion by Hamas, including safeguarding military plans and compelling Israel to believe that Hamas did not want to pursue a war.
Simultaneously, Israel was under the assumption that they were restraining a battle-scarred Hamas with the delusion of supplying economic incentives to the laborers in Gaza. The bloc’s militants were drilled, sometimes even in the open for everyone to see, as said by a source in close proximity to Hamas.
The source closely stated, “Hamas used an unprecedented intelligence tactic to mislead Israel over the last months by giving the public the impression that it was not willing to go into a fight or confrontation with Israel while preparing for this massive operation.”
Israel admits that it was caught with its defenses down by an attack timed to coincide with the Jewish Sabbath as well as a religious holiday. Israeli towns were razed by storming Hamas soldiers, resulting in the deaths of 700 Israelis and the abduction of dozens more. Following this incident, Israel has taken the lives of more than 400 Palestinians in retaliation in Gaza.
Major Nir Dinar, the spokesperson for the Israeli Defence Forces, called this attack “Israel’s 9/11.” He further said, “They surprised us, and they came fast from many spots—both from the air, the ground, and the sea.”
In his statement to Reuters, Osama Hamdan, the Hamas representative, said that the attack proved that Palestinians had the determination to reach their aim “regardless of Israel’s military power and capabilities.”
