Bhopal: In an attempt to draw attention, a 38-year-old man from Gwalior, Amit Kumar Sen, staged a protest, alleging that his wife and her lovers might be planning to kill him, similar to the recent “blue drum” murder case in Meerut.
Holding a sign addressed to the chief minister, Amit accused his wife of infidelity and claimed she was responsible for his son Harsh’s death. He further stated, “She has cheated on me. She killed my son and could have me killed too. Many cases have surfaced where wives, along with their lovers, have murdered their husbands. My wife has three to four boyfriends.”
A resident of Janakpuri, Amit alleged that his wife, now living with a man named Rahul, not only killed their son but also took their younger child with her.
The protest took place at the Phoolbagh intersection, where Amit demanded immediate police intervention and protection. Despite multiple complaints, he claims no action has been taken. The police, however, stated that no formal complaint had been received but assured that a thorough investigation would be conducted if one was filed.
