Greater Noida: A 17-Year-Old Driving SUV at High Speed, Lost Control, Resulting in Death of a woman

A woman lost her life instantly in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, after being struck by a speeding SUV driven by a 17-year-old, according to an NDTV report. The teenager was detained on Friday.
CCTV footage from the Bisrakh area, now widely shared on social media, captures the SUV speeding into view, overtaking a tractor, and subsequently losing control before colliding with a pedestrian. The woman was dragged by the vehicle, which eventually crashed into a pole.
NDTV, referencing police sources, noted that the accident occurred near the CRC society in Bisrakh. The driver fled the scene, leaving behind 27-year-old Shilpi from Jatpura, Hardoi district, who was on her way to a construction site for work when she was fatally struck.
Greater Noida police have seized the vehicle involved and launched a search for the driver. The teenager was taken into custody later on Friday.
