Demi Moore was awarded the Golden Globe for Best Performance in a Motion Picture-Musical or Comedy for her role in the horror-comedy The Substance.

The 62-year-old actress, still celebrating her win, took to Instagram the next day to share her joy and gratitude with her followers. In an emotional post, Moore uploaded a photo of herself smiling while holding her award.

“Woke up this morning still in shock but full of so much joy, love, and gratitude for this honor and recognition. I am so deeply humbled and the little girl in me is saying FUCK YEAH!” she wrote. She also thanked the Golden Globes for recognising her work, “Thank you for your support and kind words, and thank you @goldenglobes 🙏🏻🏆♥️”.

Moore’s win was a moment of celebration not only for her but also for her three daughters—Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah Willis—whom she shares with her ex-husband Bruce Willis.

Rumer Willis, 36, expressed her pride on Instagram Stories, writing, “It’s such a gift to see you shine and be recognised not only for this incredible performance but for the great work you’ve done throughout your career. This is just the beginning.”

Scout Willis also shared her excitement, saying, “I’m so proud; my whole body is dancing. I’m overwhelmed with joy and gratitude.” Meanwhile, Tallulah Willis described her mother as “the greatest teacher.”

The actress also shared a celebratory family video on Instagram, in which she happily held her Golden Globe and said, “I love you guys!”

During her acceptance speech, Moore reflected on her journey as an actress. “I’m in shock right now. I’ve been doing this job for over 45 years, and this is the first time I’ve won something as an actor,” she said. “I’m so grateful and thankful.”

She also shared a memorable piece of advice she received many years ago: “Just know that you can never be enough, but you will realise your worth if you stop measuring yourself against others.”
