Delhi Reports Covid-19 Death, Active Cases Recede

The national capital, Delhi, reported one Covid-19-related death on Monday, taking the total death toll to 6. The deceased was a 67-year-old man suffering from comorbidities, including metastatic carcinoma in his right lung, acute respiratory failure, and Covid-19 pneumonia.
Active Cases and Recovery
There were no new Covid-19 cases recorded on Monday, and active cases receded by 33, taking the total number of active cases to 649. According to the central dashboard data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 33 patients were either cured, discharged, or migrated since Sunday.
Government Advisory
In response to the recent rise in Covid-19 cases in parts of the country, the Delhi government issued an advisory to all hospitals in the city, directing them to step up preparedness as a precautionary measure. The advisory ensures the availability of hospital beds, oxygen, medicines, and vaccines.
