Rohit Sharma, the captain of India’s cricket team, and global superstar Ed Sheeran appeared together for an exclusive interview on the YouTube channel Oaktree Sports’. This interview was hosted by Gaurav Kapoor and premiered on April 12th.

The interview was filmed the day after Ed Sheeran’s appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show. He mentioned the shooting lasted for four hours, including a Bhangra performance on “Shape Of You”.

Gaurav’s first question was, “Do you ever get scolded by your team, saying, ‘No, you can’t do all of this; you’re a celebrity’?”

Ed Sheeran responded, “100 percent, we literally had a meeting about this.” He also added, “It’s all about exploring stuff and like doing something, failing, learning, trying something different, and learning, and I don’t think you can become a master at anything without failing.”

During the show, the world-renowned singer asked Rohit, “After you’ve retired, can you see yourself running well or having a team and bringing in all the talent?” to which he replied, “I haven’t really thought about it…” and said he wants to play a few more years until India wins the World Cup.
