In a talk with Dainik Jagran, Manoj Bajpayee said, “After winning the National Award for the movie Pinjar, I was not receiving any special work and none of my movies were popular.”
Karan Johar, in a candid interview with Faye D’souza, talks about failure, money, and sexuality issues, “I have seen a lot of failures as well. Films have failed, and I was failing my parents. As a child, I failed; I was unlike other boys.”

To become successful actors, all celebrities have been on a very tough journey in their lives. Two famous actors working in the Indian film industry and facing challenges to make careers in films are Karan Johar and Manoj Bajpayee. Their journey from normal people to stars was not a piece of cake. Filmmaker Karan Johar, one of the iconic faces who makes and writes Hindi films and is also a TV personality, talked about his children, spending money on expensive things, and how he is offended by mimics.

Karan Johar’s Interview

In a video conversation with Faye D’Souza on her YouTube channel yesterday, Karan Johar shared some confessions. Karan disclosed his baritone classes after coming to college for his voice skills. “I went to a public speaking class. There was a gentleman who told me at the end of the class, ‘Work on your voice skills.’ He sent me to a class that would bring some kind of baritone into my voice. They’d put things in your mouth just to open your voice up,” Karan said.

On Karan Johar’s kids and their mother, he said that since he’s a single father who looks after and raises his kids, Karan’s children asked him, “Whose stomach was I born in?” However, they called their grandmother “mother.” The kids understood that Karan’s mother was not their real mother but their grandmother. On buying expensive stuff, Karan said that belonging to an upper-class family, his father always adored him, and he used to spend money on the most expensive stuff because those things gave him joy. He also bought high-priced handbags worth 35 lakh rupees as he had an ancestral heirloom.

Manoj Bajpayee’s Story from Struggle to Success

Manoj Bajpayee is known for his action, drama, and dialogue in the web series ‘Family Man’. He has performed in several hit movies which gave him fame. Manoj Bajpayee’s life was full of labor, discord, and difficulties that tested his patience throughout his unlucky time. Nevertheless, he took his failures seriously.
In a talk with Dainik Jagran, he said, “I do not take pathetic times seriously. I have a lot to do in the whole day. I read something, and once I decide if everything is done, then I go out to meet my friends.” He confronted when he came into acting, he never felt sad when he did not have any movie. Manoj Bajpayee said, “After winning the National Award for the movie Pinjar, I got no good work in the film industry, no movie was running. When movies stopped running, I received a little work to do so that I could run my kitchen daily. That was the worst time of my career, but I did not give up hope.”
He also said, “I do not like sitting empty at home, I like to keep fighting.”
Now Manoj Bajpayee is busy shooting the series Family Man 3.
