A Singapore-based Indian-origin man’s devotion to his brother with cerebral palsy has touched hearts online. During Thaipusam at Malaysia’s Batu Caves, he carried his brother up the stairs instead of carrying a traditional canopy kavadi, ensuring he was part of the celebration.
In an interview with New Straits Times, Suresh Vanaz shared that as the family’s sole breadwinner, he sees it as his duty to care for his brother, who loves traveling. His dream is to take him around the world.
Social media users have hailed Vanaz as a “hero,” admiring his heartfelt gesture. His Instagram is filled with videos featuring his sibling, with many praising their bond.
