Bollywood Actresses & Actors Condemn the Terror Attack on Pilgrims

The Bollywood actresses and actors, through social media platforms, have condemned the terrorist attacks on a bus filled with 30 pilgrims that was going from Cave Temple in Shiv Khori to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra on Sunday. The terrorist attack, which occurred in the Reasi district of J & K at 6 PM on June 9th, 2024, took the lives of 10 people, including a child.
On this horrifying incident, Bollywood actresses Priyanka Chopra & her cousin Parineeti, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Richa Chadha, and other celebrities Bhumi Pednekar and Tamanna Bhatia have condemned the terrorist attack and expressed their grief for the innocent people’s deaths.
Priyanka Chopra expressed her grief on social media regarding the shocking attack: “Devastated. This brutal attack on innocent pilgrims is unfathomable. Why target civilians and children? It’s so hard to comprehend the hatred we’re witnessing around the world.” Bhumi Pednekar shared a post on her Instagram stories: “Prayers for those who lost their loved ones in the Reasi attacks. The loss of innocent lives in this act of terror is deeply heartbreaking. Om Shanti.”
Parineeti wrote on Twitter: “Heartbroken to see the images coming in from Reasi. Praying for the families of the deceased. May God give them strength and may the injured recover as soon as possible.” Kareena Kapoor, an Indian actress, wrote on her Instagram stories regarding this unfortunate terror attack: “Heartbroken. The attack in Reasi is a reminder that humanity suffers when violence prevails.”
The Indian film actors Varun Dhawan, Riteish Deshmukh, Anupam Kher, and other famous stars of the industry also condemned the terror attack on the bus carrying pilgrims, which left the nation in sorrow and shock.
Actor Varun raised his voice about the pilgrims’ sorrow and shared a post on his Instagram: “I strongly condemn this cowardly terrorist attack. Praying for the departed souls. My condolences to the victims and their families.”
Actor Mohit Raina was profoundly saddened after seeing the attack. He revealed his grief and sadness by posting on social media: “I am deeply pained, saddened, and disturbed by the attack on pilgrims. May the almighty give strength to the loved ones of the victims to bear the pain.” He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
