As the party has faced many ups and downs, now BJP is preparing in full swing for the 2024 elections with the given pattern of candidates and selections of CMs in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan.

The party leaders are expecting a “new look for BJP,” wherein they are attempting to return to power for the third time in a straight term. “We will have to see who are the ones denied a Lok Sabha ticket and if there is any Chief Minister who is asked to contest the Lok Sabha polls. Many sitting MPs may lose their tickets, and the sword of a new role will dangle over the head of any CM who is asked to contest the Lok Sabha polls,” said a BJP leader.

The party has full confidence in returning to power after their recent Assembly election wins. With the inauguration of Ram Mandir scheduled on 22nd Jan 2024, BJP will connect with the residents of Ayodhya by interacting with them on a personal level.

As per a BJP insider, if the BJP wins, one will have to keep a close watch on the new Council of Ministers because the same old may be eased out, and the new ones may be given ministries.

Once the Lok Sabha elections are done and dusted, the BJP will significantly have three Assembly Elections to prepare for, as the State elections are due in Maharashtra, Haryana, and Jharkhand in 2024. Additionally, there is an election coming up in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir that the Supreme Court has instructed to be held in September.

BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh’s aide, as the President of Wrestling Federation of India (WFI), on 21st December, triggered a backlash. The government acted quickly to contain the anger and suspended the wrestling body for three days.

Wrestlers who accused Brij Bhushan of sexual harassment are from Haryana. BJP’s ultimate move is to signal the state and the Jat community that it stands with them. The party targeted the Opposition during the Winter Session over the “insult” to Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, who is a Jat, after Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Kalyan Banerjee was filmed mimicking him.

In Maharashtra, it has to be seen if Devendra Fadnavis is projected as the CM face of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The alliance has expanded, and there are more claims for power.
